First thing to say - this is really amazing!
But since you asked for ciritque I'm gonna offer a little:
Especially the mermaid does not look like being underwater but more in air, because 1. the contrast in shading is not big enough and 2. underwater everythings gets a little bluish because of the light being broken. Secondly, because the ocean is not even, the light is broken stringer and lighter randomly, so that you won't have a clean shading. If you don't know what I mean, google underwater and the results should show you! ^^
However this is a light mistake and I only saw it after looking at it twice.

Also, I'd suggest using more than one hue when drawing the water surface, like a turkish blue when nearing the center (also, the center of the inbreaking light could be more glowing if you didn't add so much white too early ^^)
